Open World Sandbox Simulation of Dude Crime City Bank: Mod APK

A 2021 Science Fiction action comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Comer and directed by Shawn Levy, Free Guy tells the story of Guy, a Non-Player Character bank teller in an online open-world video game called Free City, which is best described as a mash-up of Grand Theft Auto and Fortnite, where Player Characters (known to Guy as "Sunglasses People" for their distinctive eyewear) commit crimes and act like violent sociopaths for fun.

Guy's world changes when he falls in love with a player character named "Molotov Girl", and is motivated to stop a bank robbery instead of just going along with it like normal. In the process he takes the player character's sunglasses and puts them on, allowing him to see the game's HUD and interact with the game like a player would. He tries to catch Molotov Girl's eye, but she brushes him off as a noob and tells him to reach level 100 if he wants to talk to her. Guy accepts this challenge, but he's unwilling to commit crimes to Level Grind, so he decides to stop them instead. Guy's level begins to shoot up, and he becomes a viral sensation as players take notice of an NPC becoming a hero and fighting back against the players.

One of the most interesting facets of L.A. Noire, separating it from other open-world crime-based games, is the interrogations. Players must make a series of decisions based on facial expressions and evidence to uncover the truth about the crimes they encounter. While it doesn't hold up like some other classic open-world games, L.A. Noire is unique enough to stand out.

With intense combat, a richly detailed open-world environment, and a gripping story, Mafia 3 is an engrossing tale of revenge and redemption that will keep players hooked from start to finish. The side activities of this title may be somewhat underwhelming and irritating after a point, but Mafia 3 has enough strengths to cover up its lackluster sandbox design.

Grand Theft Auto III is a 2001 action-adventure game developed by DMA Design and published by Rockstar Games. It is the third main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, following 1999's Grand Theft Auto 2, and the fifth instalment overall. Set within the fictional Liberty City (loosely based on New York City), the story follows Claude, a silent protagonist who, after being betrayed and left for dead by his girlfriend during a robbery, embarks on a quest for revenge that leads him to become entangled in a world of crime, drugs, gang warfare, and corruption. The game is played from a third-person perspective and its world is navigated on foot or by vehicle. Its open world design lets players freely roam Liberty City, consisting of three main areas.

Grand Theft Auto III has been frequently included among the greatest video games of all time.[119] In 2007, GamePro called Grand Theft Auto III the most important video game of all time, explaining that the "game's open-ended gameplay elements have revolutionized the way all video games are made".[120] Similarly, IGN ranked the game among the "Top 10 Most Influential Games",[121] and GameSpot listed it among the greatest games of all time.[122] In 2009, Game Informer wrote that Grand Theft Auto III "changed the gaming landscape forever with its immersive open world sandbox",[123] and in 2016, GamesRadar+ named it the "most important game" of the 2000s.[124] Time named it one of the greatest video games of all time in November 2012[125] and August 2016.[126] The game was selected as part of the Game On touring exhibition, demonstrating some of the game's development plans and artwork.[127] In 2016, The Strong National Museum of Play inducted Grand Theft Auto III to its World Video Game Hall of Fame.[128]

Grand Theft Auto III is considered to have a leading role in the popularisation of sandbox games, inspiring those such as Crackdown, Mafia, Saints Row, True Crime, and Watch Dogs.[29][121] The term "Grand Theft Auto clone" is frequently used to describe subsequent video games released with similar open-ended gameplay as Grand Theft Auto III.[129] While previous video games used open world design, including earlier Grand Theft Auto games, Grand Theft Auto III took this gameplay foundation and expanded it into a 3D world,[122] offering an unprecedented variety of minigames and side-missions.[29][121] Journalist and consultant Tom Bramwell felt that the game did not invent a lot of its gameplay features, but "brought them all together".[29] Due to its greater success over its predecessors, it is credited with popularising the open-world genre;[1] Dan Houser felt that the game made it "one of the most vibrant genres today",[18] and Garbut felt that it led to the complexities of Rockstar's future open world games, including the later Grand Theft Auto titles and Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018).[17][130] IGN's Jack Harwood wrote that the game's talk radio station inspired similar inclusions in other open world games, such as Mafia III (2016) and Watch Dogs: Legion (2020).[46]

It's tough to find games like GTA. That's because Rockstar Games has a tendency to set an impossibly high bar, which is something that helped propel GTA 5 to become one of the most successful video games of all-time and GTA Online as one of the most enduring. Still, if you're looking for other fantastic crime-ridden action games, or just one of the best open world games to explore, then we've got some great picks for you. Below you'll find the 10 best games like GTA, which should make the wait for GTA 6 a little easier on you.

Grand Theft Auto III inherits and modifies much of the gameplay mechanics from its predecessors, Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2, combining elements of a third-person shooter and a driving game in a new 3D game engine. The idea of using a 3D game engine in such a genre was however not new: the first game to combine elements of action, shooting, and driving various vehicles in a sandbox-style 3D world was Hunter, released in 1991 for the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST home computers.[6][7] The first developed by DMA Design was Body Harvest (1998), for the Nintendo 64. Publicly debuted in 1995 at Nintendo's SpaceWorld video game trade show, Body Harvest was revolutionary for its time, but despite above average reviews,[8] the game sold poorly.[9] Grand Theft Auto III takes the gameplay elements of Body Harvest and combines them with the open-ended game design of the Grand Theft Auto series to create a level of freedom and detail that was unprecedented in 2001.[10]

A major feature in Grand Theft Auto III's predecessors that allowed the player to obtain cash by committing petty crimes has been downplayed in the game, encompassing only car ramming, vehicle destruction and pedestrian killing. The amount of money in the player's possession is no longer a requirement to unlock new areas in Grand Theft Auto III. There are only two exceptions to this, which require the player to have a certain amount of money. Instead, the completion of missions and unfolding of the game's storyline are now responsible for this role. Additionally, the player is allowed to return to all unlocked areas of the city. However, as new areas open up, access to other, previously available areas becomes more dangerous or difficult to explore, due to hostilities from enemy gangs.

A common trait Grand Theft Auto III shares with the rest of the series is the considerably non-linear gameplay within the open world environment of Liberty City. Missions that are offered to the player primarily fall into two categories: storyline-based and side missions. While the game's linear set of storyline-based missions are required to advance the plot and unlock certain areas of the map, the player can choose to complete them at his or her own leisure. Additionally, many of them are not mandatory. Alternatively, it is possible to ignore the main missions and only play side missions. If the player acquires a taxi cab, they can pick up designated non-player characters as fares and drop them off at different parts of the city for cash; obtaining an ambulance allows the player to pick up injured non-player characters and drive them to the hospital for cash. Fire fighting and vigilante police missions are also available. However, if the player wishes, he or she may avoid all missions and instead choose to explore the city, stealing cars, running over pedestrians, and avoiding or opposing the police.

In 2009, Game Informer placed Grand Theft Auto III 4th on their list of "The Top 200 Games of All Time", saying that it "changed the gaming landscape forever with its immersive open world sandbox".[68] GamesRadar named it 'the most important game of the decade'.[69] In November 2012, Time named it one of the 100 greatest video games of all time.[70]"Grand Theft Auto III: RAGE Classic" was a fan made release for Grand Theft Auto IV which was released on 16 December 2012. It received 3,250 downloads as of 11 May 2013 with a rating of 8.09/10.[71][72]
